We are so looking forward to gathering again for our next Culford Talk this coming September, and are kicking off the Autumn with the legendary Stuart Carey.

Stuart Carey is a London-based master potter, educator, and media consultant. Originally from Newcastle, his journey began at 14 when a teacher opened up the world of clay—setting him on a ten-year exploration through GCSE, a BA at Glasgow School of Art, and an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2011.

Upon graduating, Stuart launched his signature tableware collection, The Intimacy of Functional Objects, which quickly garnered international acclaim. His work earned prestigious awards such as the Homes & Gardens Designer Award for “Use of Materials” and the Elle Decoration British Design Award for “Best Craft Maker”.
